back in the days before cell phones guys would carry little black books in their wallets (on the side opposite the emergency condom) full of friends and chicks phone #'s. when it had more dr's, pharmacy's and lawyers in it, you knew you were officialy old. now I have a big rolodex on my desk overstuffed with #'s and bussiness cards and that is my external brain. now I don't even carry a wallet anymore.

Thanks alot Nacho, now I'm old? :crip You're only as old as you feel! And I know what a black book and rolodex are (still use a black book for grouper/offshore numbers), I'm not that young.
Sorry for derailing your thread Iluv2hunt.
the stored phone # list on the cell phone has replaced my black book but God forbid I lose that info. I suppose I should get a 2nd memory card for a backup. cell phone tech/smart phones just amaze me, so much better than the communicators on star trek in the 60's. just need a phaser and transporter.
