The roof looks nice. I have been on a few roofs myself and that's very productive in that time frame.

It's that time of year. just had my flat roof replaced a couple of weeks ago. the hardest thing is writing that check for thousands of dollars for something they did in a day and a half. well worth it though.

That is a great looking house I love the old florida style of houses set in the Oak's like that. Tell me do you have a problem with all the oaks blocking the sun and causing mildew and mold on your roof? That would effect the life span of shingles.

those oaks do look good and give good shade but I opted to cut one tree down and keep them as far from my house as possible. less mold/mildew, gutter cleaning but the main reason was after seeing those long branches moving around and snapping like a several hundred pound bull whip, I don't want them anywhere near my roof,house/cars in the event of another hurricane like in 04. these crazy hot temps lately and not even June yet has got ocean/bay water temps up early and we could be looking at a real bad hurricane season. I still have one big azz oak branch I want down. at least 20+"'s in diam and real long. fortunately it's way in the back yard but could do some major damage to other trees and my fence. drastically trimmed it as much as possible almost a year ago,but those things grow like no body's business.
