Well my son was driving home from church last night in my van and got side swiped by a young woman who was hauling a$$ and drifted into his lane on a corner. He had nowhere to go. It was either take the hit or run into a retaining wall. Thank the Lord it wasn't a head-on or things would be very different today. He had just come through a light and was going about 30 mph and this chic shoots around the corner and wacks him. Fortunately no one was injured but the van is dead. My insurance company hasn't totalled it yet and it could be fixed but for what it would cost the van just isn't worth it. Sad day indeed. The HCS deputy that investigated clearly saw that she was at fault and cited her. Thing is she told her insurance company that it was my son's fault. I spoke with the deputy tonight and he told me the citation would be in the official report and that my insurance company could call him for more info.
Sooo, I'm looking for a good truck. Nothing fancy just good solid transportation preferably in 4x4. I don't want to spend over $4000 so if you know of anything available near Tampa please let me know. Here are a couple of photos I took last night.

That's too bad, it looked like a nice van. I'm also glad your son is ok. I'm sure the insurance companies will sort things out.
Well she got the ticket its her insurance, not yours. been there. I had one tell my insurance it was my fault. I said did you read the accident report. She got the ticket she caused the accident she responsible for the repairs.
Its just a little scratch........ very fixable. You should have seen what a stripper did to my truck one night.....well thats another story.
