All that I can say about the perception of a beard is that I'm jealous because all I can grow is about a sloppy left over and not even a mustash cause I have a big gap in the middle. the only thing that I can grow is the hair on my head and I have to shave it 3 times a week. If the hair on my head grew like the hair on my face I'd have it made. I have to be bald cause I cain't grow hair on my face!

I just started growing mine a month ago. I wish it were thicker, but for comments all I get is people notice the gray that is scattered in it now. I do not know if I will keep it trimmed or go Duck Dynasty on it. As a SAHD, at least I can choose without worrying about the job.

When I was teaching, it would have been much harder to experiment and still look professional.
