I need to give credit where it's due. We decided to get out of the house and go for a drive this afternoon. I had a craving for seafood. We drove out to Tarpon Springs to the sponge docks and ate at Rusty bellies.
I will give it an A. A little pricey, but I am ok with pricey if you get a generous portion and great speedy service, which is what we got. Our meals were huge portions and the seafood was fresh. Great service and cold beer. Also they bring you hushpuppy appetizers that were outstanding!
That is also the most I food I have had in one sitting in weeks so I am gonna power nap now......

Oh man, I 2X Rusty Bellies. The shrimp po'boy is amazing. I've also gotten the oyster po'boy and it's just as good. They make great cheese grits too.

If you just want to grab something and take it home they have a great seafood market right below the restaurant. I've picked up boxes of Apalachicola Bay oysters there in season and they've always been great.

We strolled thru the fish market and, honestly, I found their prices outrageous. Shrimp were $10/lb. Everything was fresh though. I think the boat had just come in as they were cleaning fish like it was a sweat shop
