I have been growing mine since January for the most part everyone likes it. Random people tell me they like it lol. But I have noticed some people that dont like it ie "dirty looks" but i really dont care what they think its my face. Mine is fully out of control and i dont think i will ever shave it all off again it has grown on me lol Only two kinds of people in this world that dont have beards women and children.
Well, I just shaved mine off on Father's Day. I've had it full time for about 8yrs. I've kept it trimmed but not like a "style beard" as my sons call it. I have to say I've had mixed responses. The funny thing is that all of my grandchildren have only known me with a beard and when I shaved it off they all looked at me like I had three eyes! Ha! They've gotten used to it now though. Mostly at church the women like the shaved face, and certainly my wife likes it much better (she's the reason I shaved in the first place). I did get a lot of ribbing from some of the fellas at church who have beards though.
Man, I'll tell you that I'm really missing it. This shaving every day thing is for the birds! I spoke with mamma the other day and reminded her that the beardlessness is only temporary. When I agreed to shave it off, it was only until hunting season started. I'm growing it back starting Sep 1st!! Whoop Whoop! :crip
Taliban..........................................LOL
Shaved it off yesterday and got a decent size job today. Weird.
As a car salesman customer perception is my livelihood and without a positive reception my kids dont eat. I'll get on your bandwagon about the beard because I also saw a slight change in customers attitudes towards me when I had a tight trim beard trimmed at the jaw line. Maybe customer service with a beard is one thing but getting someone to spend there money with you in direct sales is another. Heck I've seen guys wear a hat in the summer time and there sales plunged. People form many opinions of someone in that first glance positive or not...Congrats on the job.
