Well i started growing my beard last year. And i kept it well groomed and edged up.
Man i just shaved it off and cleaned it up. Ive noticed that ever since i had a beard business has been very slow to the point where i almost didnt make bills this past month. First time ever! And first time geowing a beard out.
Anyone else notice that people dont trust you or frown down to beards?
I felt that i lost alot of work due to my beard. And ill say again it was well groomed and not that long.
I get nothing but compliments on mine. I mean every person I see. SO many that I doubt I will ever shave it off as long as I live. I doubt your lack of work had anything to do with being bearded. Just a cycle
In a non gay way, I like beards on men. To me it personifies masculinity and maturity. There is nothing, I repeat nothing unprofessional about a well groomed corporate beard on a man. There have been hundreds of thousands of men who have been bearded and successful business men. Jesus also had a beard. I have had facial hair of some sort for over 10 years and never had a customer look down on me because of it. The caliber of clients should not matter. I work from the ghetto to Avila country club.
I keep mine at 1" with a natural untrimmed cheek and neck line. I would not let it go long being in the customer service business, but if I wasn't I would grow a yeard in a heartbeat
