have not been around much grampa been in nursing home and now back in hospital. the good news is there has been no cancer found anywhere else. the bad news is that while in nursing home for recovery and therapy, he got blisters on his feet that due to poor circulation turned into gangrene. vascular surgeon did a 3 hour angioplasty on his left leg fri, and is supposed to get the right leg this week. it is hard to see my grampa going thru all this, and at 90 i dont know if it is for better or worse. i just hope my grampa gets to come back home eventually.

looks like grampa is going to be coming home around dec. 10th. unfortunately he will not be coming to his house but moving in with my parents. the last couple of months have been rough, with all kinds of procedures and lots of back and forth to the nursing home and hospital. seems like when they read my grampa his last rights he says oh h*ll nooooo! not yet man. glad that he will be coming closer to home and back with family taking care of him. in 7 yrs of care i made sure he never got as much as a scrape much less a bed sore, cant say the same for the nursing home.
