Just bought my wife a new shotgun last week. of coarse we have been married 20 years. would not have worked 20 years ago.
I only read the first post. And I'm going to just say what I feel. First don't be pressured to get married. Do it when your ready. Honestly if that was priority and you were 100 percent ready you would not have anything on your mind other then the ambition to buy the ring. Your unconsience mind made the decision to buy a gun instead of the ring. Make sure your totally ready and have no doubts at all. Once you get married you pretty much give your whole life and all the guns you bought right to her. Trust me I was married for 13 years and was rushed and made feel guilty for not buying a ring fast enough. I fell in bought a ring and now 13 years later I had to pretty much start my life over from my living situation to all my material possessions. Only thing I got out of it was 2 beautiful children. Lost pretty much everything including my family due to relocation and all the bull that comes along with it.!
