Medieval Crossbow

Some of our folks weave, and spin with hemp, we just don't extract it from the plants anymore. Mostly we use Flax which is comparable to hemp. A friend of mine has spun some silk for me so I can make bow strings. They should be very strong and last a long time. This friend also dyes her spun threads. I am helping her make a huge loom which she will use to make large projects on.
