gotta strongly disagree with the make as much $ with the least amount of work theory. it shows no pride in your work and will likely lead to no repeat bussiness or refferals. I routinely and knowingly lost money on my first pt contact visits, taking much longer than others and doing a much more thorough job and things not in my job description. first impressions are the most important, you may not get a second. it paid off $ wise on the requests for comeback visits, positive word of mouth, pride of doing the right thing, simple and sincere thank you's instead of "you people sux", offers of hunting their properties and the warm fuzzy feelings you get when you run into them years later and they thank you for going the extra mile, even if you don't remember them. I certainly didn't choose my profession for the $/high stress or rotten hours. these are things that should matter to all, but especialy to owners and mgt.

That's not necessarily what I meant though. I meant to find the job that pays the most amount of money with the least amount of work, when compared to other jobs. What you are speaking of is going the extra mile, in that specific workplace, so that you could help yourself make more money. Nothing wrong at all with what you're doing. Where do you work by the way, if you dont mind sharing? My wife and I both work with patients.

my limited experience in business; business is just that, business. it can be tuff. no one will ever care about your business as much as you do. relationships that are formed from busness usually cary some alterior motives. if you can make responsible decisions that generate a positive out comes that is all that you can hope for. as for partners that is tuff to handle in most cases. if it can be done without them it usually works better. as for the money its all yours making it and loosing it. good luck hope it works out the way you want
