Good for you. Having been there done that, it's much easier to teach something once the right way, than to un-learn a bad habit & re-teach. Imo running her with other dogs (right now) is like putting a kid on the school bus, it's where they learn all the bad stuff. Later after the basics are solid, YES. A training table will really save your back. Good luck.

Ok....but I know you're not taking that blanket up to camp.....just kidding....

Stick with her, might take a while, but once you get her trained you'll never regret it....
My springer has found countless deer that were shot by someone and didn't go DRT......even when you cant see blood or hair anywhere....she goes right to the deer 99% of the time. Also fetches squirrels for me, and a hell of a watch dog. Nobody that she doesn't know is coming anywhere near my camper without her permission..
