both of mine died before i was 6 so i never really new them. Sorry to here about your grandads health.

Yeah, I have my 88 year old mom in law here with us. dimentia, 24/7 care. you do need a break. wife and I took 5 weeks across the pond and another 3 weeks in Maine. We did use hospice for a while and they were terrific. We made the brothers pick up the slack while we were gone. You do need to step away for awhile. How the wife does it I don't know. How you do it I don't know. God bless
