It really doesn't matter if Einstein believed in the same God as me, as long as he acknowledges a God. I really just have a problem with the egotistical nature of some people to think nothing is better than humans.

It DOES matter, the 1st Commandment says so. Believing in "a" god is not the same as believing in the LORD.

Matthew 4:10 quotes Jesus as saying "Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only."

I'll settle with the opining that neither of these men are any "better" than the other in a religious sense really. It seems that Darwin had a slow slide from being a believer to basically renouncing his belief and being an agnostic whereas I'm not sure if Einstein ever believed. It all amounts to the same thing in the end.

Congratulations to all that have been actively participating in this thread.

As was already stated, there are times when there are no winners when it comes to discussing religion and politics, and on this particular subject there are many facets that are both political and religious. We are all entitled to our own opinions and my opinion, based on my political and spiritual beliefs, and my upbringing, and how I choose to express them should be respected by all who hear or read them. Then the reverse must also hold true, I should respect your religious and political views as well. This does not cause you or me to have to believe or accept each others particular views but it does open the door for thought and a civilized dialog, should we choose to learn more about each others paticular stand.

Historical data concerning the Presidents of our country, data on the scientests in history, any group you may choose, will always have differing views on any given subject and in the end someones' view will be correct and the other will be wrong. We should all desire to be on the correct side and this is where faith comes to play. We either belive a topic, knowing that we know, or we're sceptical and wonder who is right or who is wrong.

Personally my religious and political views are probably far to the right of a lot of folks who participate on this forum and I'm sure that in spite of this fact we agree on a lot of topics, maybe even for different reasons. In the end it was good to read of a man who shared an example of healing he didn't quite understand, but yet acknowledges it was God who did it. It was also good to read where a man acknowledged this event in an other man's life and complimented him for his stand. It was also refreshing to read mention the words that were spoken by Jesus to Satan himself, "Away from me,Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only'." and the reference to the 1st Commandment, "You shall have no other gods before me." Is it time to consider what and why there is an Easter celebration? It is up to us individually to accept or reject the message of Easter.

And yes sir DONY1, it all came from a Bozo who was fortunate his buddy was able to keep the bullet on the vest and not a hair high!
