Bring it by my dealership and I will have a mechanic check it for you for free.

well im sure it wont leak.. i mean i got 120,000 miles on the truck.. the seal on the other side of the shaft went and i changed it.. so i figure it was time to change it.. There is i mean like a 16th of an inch of play up and down. definitely coming from the bearing.. but i mean it just cant leak ,, new seal.. Hopefully. The only thing i found online was someone whos drain plug went loose and they lost fluid and screwed up the transfer case.. Nissan said they had NEVER EVER had a problem with a transfer case or had to change one.

Call the BBB and find out if that shop has had any complants in the past.
I took my wifes old 04 Jeep GC limited to place for an inspction they said I have 4 blown shocks and a inner axel seel leak and rear brakes were shot.
The Jeep only had 45k on it.
I Told them they were full of Crap.
I went to Tampa Bay Tech auto and Peterbilt school I have a clue.
I took it to Jeep and did not tell them anything they ran it through and said all set .
Told state police come to find out that shop was under investigation in the past for crap like that.
Good luck,
