Enjoy!
2 weeks from tomorrow and I'm out of here. My bro decided he just can't go. His wife is being laid off in August and the timing just isn't right. :censored We'll see him 1 night on the way there and 1 on the way back I guess. Decided to just rent a bike and pick one up when I get back. Probably after hunting season though. We'll see. Gonna pick up a gopro next week I think. I landed a few new contracts yesterday that require a ton of pics as I go and I don't think my other cams can handle it so I'll just have to get another. :rolleyes I'll be there for 12 days and take a red eye back on the 15th. Leaving on the 16th for a quota hunt. My gator tags start at the same time so I may have to try my luck on that same weekend at night or when I get back from the hunt. Momma ain't too happy right now hence the trip to Captiva. :shifty
Very cool. Enjoy it. I never did Sturgis with my Dad. I did Daytona a number of times. Some great memories. Enjoy!!!!
I'd suggest warm clothes, good riding boots, a helmet and a good pair of goggles... Then get you a sleeping bag and roll it up and attach it to your handle bars like int he old tv show "Then Came Bronson". Sounds like an awesome trip. Wish I could have done that with my dad. Have fun and be safe. Remember Wild Hogs!! :clap
i was in sturgis in 92. not on a bike, and on a family trip in the ole family truckster. I will never forget the time spent in that suburban once we rode out of chicago. The ride to yellowstone by way of sturgis and other great destinations was incredible. the memories will last a lifetime. do yourself a favor and make sure if you get any clear weather to look up at the sky. being a native floridian and seeing the milky way, and all the celestial bodies we cant see along the i4 corridor was one of the most awesome things about the trip.
