Is there a function on GE, or any other mapping program to measure acreage? I am sure I saw it before but can't seem to find the function to do it. I want to measure a block of woods and see how many acres it is

If you are using Google Earth, the program...not the browser plugin, there is a ruler on the toolbar that will allow you to do it.

This works great. I don't seem to have the area calculator tool on my GE toolbar. I followed the instructions in the help menu but it didn't work. Thanks for the link. :toast
