I have this exact model, no complaints but I've only played with some skeet. I know its a bit off topic but what would be a good round to use for hog with this setup?

Nacho loves those 500's as do alot of other folks. Nothing wrong with them. I'd offer him $200 cash. Me personally I call them a rattle trap compared to an 870 Wingmaster, Win Model 12 or Browning BPS, but that's what you get from a gun that costs $300-350 new. Just not my cup of tea...

OFFER HIM $200 CASH if you want it.

For $200 you can't beat it. Even if you don't like it, you can sell it and get your money back.

Well how about comparing it to remington? Like finish, performance, and stuffs like after market accessories??

Im worrying alot about the rusts. I give a good care for my guns but I heard from someone that some shotguns get rust way to easy...

Go get it before I do! The 500 has a good finish, and extra barrels are affordable and easy to change out, with lots of options. Plus you can find after-market accessories out the wazoo, almost as many as an AR-15!
