glock 23c is an awesome gun low recoil but great stopping power and a nice carry gun as well

My opinion would be useless because Im only a 19 but as soon as I turn 21, Glock would be my very first pistol that Im going to buy.

They are compact, holds lots of ammo, very reliable, less recoil, and price is very fair.

I do not own any pistol but I've shot quite different types of pistol from my uncle. He has some collections. Lots of collection...

He has around 150 pistols in his house consisting with variety of brands but majority of them are colt, sig sauer, and H & K.

He had few glocks and after some tries with different brands of pistola , I decided to purchase a glock for my first choice when I turn 21 lol.

Whatcha gonna be doing with the gun? Plinking? competition? self-defense (concealed Carry)? hunting?
Depending on how you answer these, could help determine a good fit for a pistol.

Myself, I have a Taurus PT 145, as my conceal carry gun, its a .45 cal semi-auto, has 10 rounds in the mag one in the pipe, double action, Safety and it shoots great, have yet to have a jam, or malfunction and have put over 1000 rds thru it. I carry Federal 230 grain Jacketed Hollow Points in it all the time. Gun was cheap like 320 new with 2 mags. This is my Self-defense gun.

I also have a .22 browning buckmark pistol for plinking or taking the occasional squirrel while hunting.

And I have a S&W 1911 with custom grips, fiberoptic front site, adjustable rear sight, match grade barrel, and reduced trigger pull to 3lbs. I have a dozen mags, some 8rd, some 10rds, speed holster, and a crap load of mag holsters on a velcro gunbelt. This is my competition gun.

So you see, what you want to do with the gun can and should determine what pistol you plan on purchasing. Obviosly the more you can do with the gun will make it more valuable to you, instead of sitting in the gun safe waiting for you to take it to the range, or hunting.
Good luck and stay safe.
