Good luck finding a used Glock for $330 that ain't worn out!
Al's right, the S&W $50 rebate is going on until Oct. 13th or 14th. You can get $50 or two magazines (10 or 14 round). I just sent mine off for the two 14 round mags. I've shot a couple hundred rounds thru mine so far, and it shoots great. Yeah, trigger is strong, but mine is smooth, not grainy. I'm going to order some new springs from Wolf and lighten the trigger pull a bit. If you buy it and don't agree it's worth the money and then some, I'll buy it from you for the $330!
That ain't worn out? If it's worn out, send it back to Glock with a nice letter about how you are a life long Glock owner and I am 95% sure they will back there product and repair or replace it, N/C. I have sent at least three guns that were broken/worn out back to the manufacturer (Remington twice, and Winchester one time about 15 years ago) and they rectified the problem. In one case they sent me a new one.
Good luck? Find deals and trades through the on-line forums, newpapers, friends, and hunting companions (Private Sales). If you go to a gun shop or retailer to buy new YOU WILL PAY RETAIL, although it doesn't require any work on your part. Most FL retailers try to sell USED GUNS AT RETAIL PRICES, when they have little to nothing in them. Just like used cars.
Just remember, if you buy junk, you get junk. Wonder if S&W would change out a bad trigger on a worn out SIGMA at N/C? Since they are relatively new in the Polymer gun line, they probably wouldn't, but maybe.
Be patient, wait and look for a deal. $300-$400 is the going rate on used Glocks. Shit at a good gun store that isn't trying to rape you, you can buy a NEW one for $489.00 - $524.00 in 40 Cal. See link below.
Better yet, used SIGMA's, police trade in's can be had in the $150-250 range now. These used prices I am quoting require WORK on your part, they aren't going to jump up and bite you in the azz.

FL Gun dealers and retailers suck! I have found more deals in FL in the last year through private sales than in the last three years. Our Swap and Sell secton should be a gold mind of trading, swapping and selling, if we would ALL look for private sale deals and buy them right. I buy everything I can at a deal, even if I don't want, need, or like the weapon. I call them "trading material" and have been able to build up a huge collection of "keepers" from doing it, with little money out of pocket. If you are in a hurry to buy, buy retail, buy junk, buy cheap, but please don't complain when you realize you wasted your money on a POS or junk!
nobody likes h&k but me? I think personally they make the best auto on the market. Yes they do cost a little more but u get what u pay for. ever in a pinch fo$$, the h&k will always bring more $$. the p-7 has a 4" FIXED barrel, smooth trigger and accuracy that can't be beat. geee,I wonder what I carry????
agree great quality, but don't want any safeties or anything to get snagged on clothes.
The HK P7 is nice but heavy, all steel. The Germans have been using them for years.. The HK USP is very nice had one in 9MM and one in 40 cal when I was stationed in Panama and carried them, a Browning hi-power (wish I still had it), and a S&W 5906 old police trade gun before I feel in love with the Sig Sauer. In 1995 when I was training at FT Huachuca, Arizona for the third or forth interation of intell training I bought my first Sig P229 in 40 Cal, which I still have today for $319.00 and sent it over to Robar outside Pheonix, Arizona and had it customized with the Norton Special (De-horned, nickle two-toned, and trigger job for $179.00) That rig new customized would run around $1200 plus today. In 1999 the Army issued us the Sig P228 for concealed carry (USA CID Agents, USA Intell. Agents, and USA MPI officers after they had taken away our S&W Detective .38's revolvers and had given us the Beretta 92F 9MM and told us to conceal them. That only last for about 18 months before we had the P228 in 9MM to carry. All that being said I still believe that the best polymer handgun on the market is the Glock, that's why they have lasted and become so popular and demanded by the consumer and LE. I have owned 8 or 10 of them over the years in every caliber except 10MM and 357 Sig. Everytime I buy one at a good price someone offers me $100-$200 more than I paid for it and I can't resist the temptation to sell them for a profit since I know there will be more Glock deals to come down the road.
Find us some deals through private sales and maybe we can make some trades. I have about 10 guns I have recently gotten in an estate buy and a few others that I haven't shot in years that I am getting ready to post up here. I want to get back into black guns (AR-15's) again since the prices have come way down.
