I am looking at buying a revolver for CC (not everyday all day) and I like the Ruger SP101 and the LCR. I have been looking for a hammer less in a 357, if there is a big price difference I can go with a 38. After holding the LCR I don't like the plastic, feels like a toy. Any opinions on these or another American made revolver? I have been looking for a used one but no luck so far, still keeping eye open for a pawn shop find.
I also like the Glock 26, but without a safety on it I would not like carrying it chambered. Am I making more of a issue than it is?
s&w makes a .38 that is similar to the ruger LCR, it is an airweight. they are a little bit heavier than the LCR.
why wouldn't you want a round chambered in the glock? its only gonna go off if you pull the trigger, and if you have a good holster and are careful as you should be with any firearm, you wont pull the trigger until you know what and where your target is.
