Sporterized or Bubba-tized? From what I've seen, old mil-surplus guns don't gain any monetary value being sporterized, no matter how well done they are, unless the sporterizing includes gold inlay, a high-dollar scope, or other such things. Last few times I've seen stock rifles of this type, in good to very good condition, they were bringing about $300-400. It has been a few months since I paid any attention to this particular type of rifle, so with the current market one might be worth a bit more money.

Was it cut down and recalibered? or just sporterized to look more modern. They where very accurate with the full length of wood. If it was recalibered it maybe printed way up on the barrel. Like everyone is saying the sportizing real cut it's value. Maybe an original stock could be found(unlikely) but numbers would not match.
