I have the opportunity to pick up a Plainfield M1 Carbine. The only thing I know about these is they are replica M1's made in the 60's and 70's......I think.

Does anyone know much about these? Value? Reliability? etc.

Thanks

Jason

They used to sell in the $450-500 range prior to the frenzy. Not sure today, but I wouldn't give more than $600-700 for it. An original Winchester should bring $1500 in today's market.

Remember the M1 Carbine was built prior to Vietnam by about 8 or 10 different companies.

Trade him and try to get as many mags and ammo from him in the deal.
