went this am with 3 guns for sale and 1 or 2 looking to buy. tons of people, lots of ak's for sale. bricks of Mexican 22 lr for 55$, and Chinese sardine cans of 7.62 for 350$, you know what they say, if you wouldn't drink the water, don't use the ammo. found the stainless S&W 617 10 shot 22lr with a 4" bbl I've been looking for for over a year (only one at the show) and sold a 1911 for a good price so made out well today. 1'st gun I've ever BOUGHT at a gun show. just hate shouldering through crowds carrying 2 rifles and a pistol around my neck. dunno if I'll go back tomorrow. didn't see any ruger #1's or Anshutz 22 rifles.
Wish i had known you had a 1911 you wanted to be rid of, i have been wanting one.
haven't had much luck selling here, either no interest, or lot's of looky lou's and low ballers. I've tried and put some great deals out there. plus as we have seen some grown men can harbor ill will over a deal. kinda like selling a car or boat to a friend. I'd prefer to sell to a stranger, or at least someone I know that won't whine later if things don't work out.
Been looking for a 1911 as well
Someone I know went to Lakeland gun show last weekend( I think). He got there an hour before doors opened and line was wrapped around bldg. Fire marshall cut it off wayy before he ever got to the door due to full capacity. He stayed in line till 11 and left. never got inside. said people were coming out with carts full of ammo
