Here is my recent purchase, I just couldn't resist. It is a Marlin 336 in 35 Rem with the "JM" stamp. The rifle was made in 1969 for the 100 year anniversary (1870-1970) and has the centennial medalian set in the stock. Rifle is is in very good condition with near perfect bluing, a few dings in the stock (nothing too deep), tight action, and the swivel holes still intact with no holes drilled. A scope has never been mounted so no holes on top either.
Sweet!.....I been wanting one in 35
Nice, I believe it should be factory drilled and tapped for a scope on top but I'm not sure. Nacho is the Marlin man. He'll know of the top of this head. How much did it run you?
Got it for $400. Not an amazing deal but I had to have it. Been wanting a 35 rem for a while.
U did fine. It seems to be in great shape. Congrats!
