after the first 2-3 drinks you couldn't tell the difference between grey goose and house brand, save your money and switch to the rotgut after the first round.

When I think of more ill post it but that sums this thread up THE END and everyone on this website probably agrees with this and if they dont then they have no idea what they are talking about :toast :rockon :clown

we are having a discussion here Rad, how many threads have been derailed over this , i started this to continue on without derailing somebody elses thread. if you can't handle it, just let us grown-ups post on here. j/k. lmao. Also some of your list of the "best" seems alittle off, i will just write that off as lack of experience due to your young age. lol . the less threads we have for this type of stuff, the more time we have to rip on you. lol

After shooting my buddies 870 I think I will stick with my Mossy 500A. It's cheaper, has far less muzzle jump and the forearm doesn't slip when I shoot it. Thinking about doing some modifications to it though. Like adding a Knoxx stock and getting a slug barrel and a low power scope.

it's your cheek and your decision but my 2-cents is I wouldn't want to punish myself shooting slugs with a knox ( collapsible/tactical ) stock, especially if using a scope. with that recoil you're gonna need to have your cheek welded firmly to the stock and adequate scope eye relief, or your gonna get slammed or cut.the problem for most is that you have to take your face off the stock to see thru the scope and that's where you get the shiner, a raised cheek piece helps immensely. #2, leupold among other mfgr's make scopes for closer range hard recoiling calibers that the parallax is set at 50 or 75 yds ( can't remember which ) with a longer eye relief and available with a heavy duplex reticle. for under 100 yds I highly recommend the heavy duplex reticle ( the cross-hairs are much thicker )it will get you on target allot faster at closer/moving game as well as keeping scope powers low gives you a wider field of view, on target faster and lets in more light without having to go to a 50mm objective. under 100 yds 1x4, 1.5x5 or 2x7 is plenty of scope power. again jmo, others may differ but they are wrong J.K.
