I've got no exp with the nova, just the sbe. and Scott if you were in the navy what the hell were ya doin in the middle of a desert? probly why they had you in the "special boat", is that like the short bus?

ran shore patrols and shuttleing spec ops guys to the beach. was like the short bus (lol) with the addition of automatic belt fed guns. sat off the coast on the Mo' sending 16" shells and tomahawks into iraq.

had to , to get my Surface Warfare pin. lot of history on that ship. that ship had plaques everywhere. had one one the deck where the japs signed their surrender. my favorite was the one near the bridge, a kamikaze hit the ship and the admiral called for sweepers to get the plane off his deck. all it did was burn the paint. lol

I bought my mossy 500a 12 ga. with 18" barrel, 8 shot magazine tube, and pistol grip.
I then purchased the 6 shot tube, and a 28" barrel with the accu-choke system.
Then I purchased the M4 style Pistolgrip adjustable shoulder stock.
I can interchange barrels magazine tubes, and pistol grip or sholder stock and use the gun for anything from Home defense to wing shooting.
I will soon be purchasing the 24" rifled barrel with a scope, to be used for deer hunting and hog hunting.
After this there wont be any application that I cannot configure my gun to be useful for.

I love my mossy its a very versatile gun!
