Well it looks like I am going to go with the BLR after all. I want it in .308 and am going to go with the one I pictured above.
I have another gun I am interested in purchasing a new Beretta Urika 2 X-Tra Grain AL 391 in 20 Gauge (See Pic).
Stay tuned, since I will be putting a few of my guns up for sale on here in the next month or so. I have three which get little to no use off the top of my head that I can let go to finance the BLR and the Beretta buys...
For my birthday? Really? I didn't know you cared. I'll make sure I clear out room in my closet for my birthday presents. I wouldn't want you to have to give em to somebody else cus I dint have room.
Yeah right.... Come up with some coin and you can have a few.
I have a Ruger M77 in .25-06 Sporter, a Ruger Mini 30 Stainless Synthetic, a Rem 1100 LT-20 Walnut w/screw in chokes, and maybe another I would part with. Need to sell a few to finance the purchase of the other two.
I will get them posted on here first to give our Forum members a look to buy some awesome guns at a fair price before I post them on Gun Broker...
the blr should be awesome, and in a caliber much more powerfull and longer ranged then avg lever calibers, but you will need a scope to take advantage of that extra distance. oh well the end of another era. in my days bolts wore scopes and levers had open sights. that berreta is way to pretty, can't you find it in camo? the camo finishes they put on the berreta and benelli's are super tough and durable, don't have any worries about that. you don't wanna end up with another closet queen like Carlos's that only gets used if theres 0% chance of rain or it getting dirty or " god forbid" scratched. enjoy both very fine weapons and should never have to be replaced. does the berreta handle 3 1/2" shells? a few xtra bbls 1- short 18-24" smoothbore with removable chokes for buckshot/ slugs for hogs or mags for turkeys and a 24" rifled bbl with no open sights on it ( scope only) for sabot slugs and your ready for anything. good hunting, congrats.
I'll vouch for the ruger 25-06 anyday fine gun, I got mine in the 26" bull bbl varmint mdl and is unbelievably accurate and with the right load and bullet will drop anything up to 500 lbs, just heavy as hell ( great porch/bench gun) too heavy for a tree stand. like your taste in weapons.
