Again, where does it say that?
If your gun is ever visible its in the OPEN. i mean this is common sense. I know its grey but what can i say. If noone ever sees it then your chances of getting in a situation thats grey is 0 percent.
The two or three step is bs, that is stated no where in the laws. There is a book that explains just about everything pertaining to conceal carry laws, all the dos and donts and for the life of me I cannot remember the title of it, I have it in my shop truck.
the title of that book is florida firearms law, use and ownership. author is gutmacher. i have read it thoroughly many times, and yes i need to get my ccp. i do believe that you can still carry a rifle, or shotgun on a gun rack in a truck with non tinted windows, as long as it is not loaded, or maybe chambered. this book is comprehensive on fl gun laws, i advise getting the newest edition.

Your vehicle is considered and extension of your domicile in the state of FL, that being said, if it were true that it couldn't be visible, that would mean that your firearms in your home couldn't be visible. Do some research on what is considered "Domicile" in the state of FL. I could be wrong here but I believe this was a change in FL law back in the 90"s when those girls were being targeted and killed at rest stops along I-95 in FL and resulted in the change of status of a "Vehicle" and "Domicile.
Lets just not make stuff up on what we've been told, let's do the research and provide "legal - case law - statues" so we are spreading the correct information.
I'm to busy today, to look it up gents.....
