I understand that Traditions is not a "Top of the line" gun, thats not a deciding factor.
For me price range is one factor, and its my first one so Im not even sure if I am going to like it very much so would rather not plunk down a huge wad of cash on something I may end up selling down the road, that is my second factor.
And final factor is muzzleloaders give me a couple more weeks of hunting during the special seasons.
and right now, with the luck im having hunting(all bad) I need a couple more days in the woods LOL
Ok my perspective TIPS.
Stainless or nickle
Break open style.
These make cleaning easier.
I like inline for the longer range shoot capability.
shoot gun primer
Thats my suggestions
remember there legal to use in small game were hogs are legal game
You can mail order black powder weapons. There is no waiting or back ground checks
I wouldn't want to judge whether I liked American cars by only driving a Pinto, so I hope you won't judge whether you like traditional muzzleloaders by only shooting a Traditions......
My opinion is don't judge BP by traditional style verse inline. Traditional style is like archery. Were inline is close to gun.
t/c al the way
