Which model eotech did you decide to go with?
I seriously doubt you'll have any trouble with the fiber optic gathering ANY available light. for me at dusk/dark the fiber optics and glow in the dark sights without my glasses look a little blurry, like one bright spot with a halo around it but at least they are visable and I really should be wearing my specs ALL the time for shooting. get together with gunboy and do a side by side comparison with the millet and fiber optics, but I gotta warn you he's a hell of a shot. I never thought a lever was possible of the kind of shooting he was doing. (with his 308 BLR)
The 512, the best price I can find one for new is around $350 delivered...

de nada. those eotechs are sweet but once you get one I know I'd want one on shotgun, pistol and lever action.
