On the flip side... can you get the adjustment wrong where it will jam the spent shell??

nope. if the gas is turned off, it won't cycle, have to do it manually with the charging handle. If it is full open , it will kick shells half a country mile. about half way works good suppressed or unsuppressed.

Gotcha. I am comparing it to an oscillating sprinkler. If you turn it low enough it will stay in one place and not move. Just a touch more and it will oscillate very slow. Didn't know if you could dial it down to where it would only kick the spent case enough to jam it
