sigs strip much easier than glocks imo. as for price I've bought a 226,2-239's, 2-220's from 1984 to present and paid exactly 500$ for each used. 2 were nickel plated,2 all stainless mdl's and one had custom fiber optic sights and an internal laser. for the small cost increase you're getting a lot more gun. esp if you keep it 20+ years.

yeah gary, i am definately keeping the .38 ammo. i got just over 300 rounds of .38 sp probably close to 70% is wad cutters and ball ammo and the rest is hp's. just under 250 rounds of 9mm 75 rounds of hp's and the rest is ball ammo. just under a box of .357 hp's in with it, 6 rounds of .45acp which i have 0 use for at this time and 3 speed loaders for the .38sp. all in a convenient box to store it all. if i can find a good deal on a sig 226 when i have the $$$ i will definately try to snag one. time will tell. thanks for the advice, i kind of figured the sig would get the most votes.

Check out www.summitgunbroker.com for Sigs. He carries new, CPO (certified pre-owned) and used Sigs. He says he can't publish the prices on his new Sigs because he will sell for less than the Sig authorized minimum advertised price. You have to call or email for a price list.
