if you can read I wasn't trying to tell anyone how to do anything, just asking a question. why the rough comeback? especialy from " a mod ?"and most of the people on this site are probably from other states to begin with. if you got a problem with yankees maybe you shouldn't be a mod.
Excellent round the .35 Rem Nacho, you know that. Just like the .30-30 and .375... Much more popular in the NY and PA woods since they were always made in Lever and Pump guns... Remember no semi-auto's in PA for deer. I can appreciate your comment, having been transplanted to the South (GA) from 1997-2005 and FL from 2005-Present coming up on 20 years, most folks shooting and hunting I've run into down South only know a .243, .270 or .30-06, .308 isn't near as popular down here as it is up north either... If you want a .35 Rem I have a bud who has three Marlin Levers in .35 Rem and I'm sure he'd part with one of them... Personally, I like the .375 more bullet weights to chose from. Always wanted one, but never had an opportunity for a good looking one to get one in trade. Now I have a sweet one since the guys I traded with for it weren't "caliber educated" and I was able to work out a good trade for her in my favor.
nah don't want or need one, used to reload them for others and they can handle lighter weight 357 cal pistol bullets at much faster velocities than pistols. just thought that since the 30-30 is so popular that the 35 would have a following. didn't mean to start the civil war all over again. hell my relatives weren't even in this country at the time.as a handloader my 2 favorite levers would both be mdl 94's 1 in 7-30 waters, a 30-30 necked down to 7mm with very light recoil shooting a 120 gr bullet at app 2800 fps and giving you at least an extra 100 yds of effective range and alot more accuracy than the 30-30 and the 375 xtr with a 220 gr at 2100 fps, but can't buy either rounds over the counter.and now that you mention it with all the calibers available the ones actually used are quite few, but they are good ones and if I didn't handload would stick to more conventional/cheap and available cartridges also.my apologies to you crackers.
