I am going to my property in TN for muzzle loading season next month and I need to fly up because of time restraints. Do any of you ever fly with your guns and which airline do you us? How do you get your game back home?

be carefull it doesn't get tangled in your cape while your flying. meat frozen in a cooler with dry ice if not opened will stay frozen a long time, no worries.

no ship airlines with dry ice-would be shipped as hazardous material $$$$$. put regular ice in a cooler and UPS over nite. most airlines will ship your guns but u have to have an airline approved guncase(cabelas or bass pro.)You also need an airline approved lock. I just sold my case to gunboy. been all over with it. I shipped all my meat UPS overnite or 2 day. good cooler will hold up and ice will melt but meat still good. if u ship frozen even better. any ups store can do it.

also check in a little earlier because the gun to an xray machine usually away from the counter. No ammo-powder-or primers in the same case. buy ur powder at the destination.less trouble that way.

Long gun? Send it UPS 2 days before you go and the day before you come back. No issue sending long guns in the mail or UPS.
