I will probably hunt the damn things on my porch with a pellet gun. Before you say anything about weapon of choice, its a small game one that shoots at 1450 fps, which in my opinion a head shot will kill it. Now that I have giving something for everyone to laugh at lets continue with the thread.
I have handled just about every critter in Florida. And the opossum is the only animal ever that makes me puke at the smell of it. My wife couldn't understand why a 235 pound tough guy who hunts, kills bugs and nuisance traps for a living, has to wear a respirator and elbow length rubber gloves to get rid of them.
Then I showed her the green slime that runs out of their ass and she understood why

I have heard they cook up like a stringy pot roast when done correctly.
