Anybody ever done any squirrel hunting there?
I have never set foot in the place but I've driven by it and it looks good. I see on the FWC site that a few years back they had a GREAT harvest. I know hardly anybody is thinking of squirrels right now but me, however it opens there in a few weeks and I was just wondering if it's worth the 1 1/2 hr drive.
I have a few honey holes a lot closer to me but I'm always looking for new places.
I'll be there next week and let you know what I see. Never been there but it's 1 of a bunch of quotas I'm going to this year.

Dang, that's a LOOONG ways from Homestead!
Harvest data says 1087 last year for CR.....for perspective camp blanding recorded 172 for a total harvest
Everything is a long ways from Homestead except the fishing. I hit a lot of WMA's around the state. Just hit Citrus last weekend. Gonna miss Goethe this week cause of work. Still have 3 hunts at Blanding and Citrus to go. I can tell ya there's plenty of squirrels at Citrus. Trust me, you don't want my gas bill by the end of the season. :wacko
