Isnt there multiple small ruts through November and December? I mean deer in Tallanasty wont be in the rut the exact same time as deer around Miami.
There is definitely different rut times. They seem to go into the rut way down south around August. My lease is not too far from Allen's around Perry and we're seeing the same trickling rut sign. A few small scrapes and very little chasing. One 8 point that was shot had a swollen neck and black tarsals but that's the only real rutted up deer that's been seen so far. I'm just looking for any hope that I didn't miss the rut up there.
