no one likes change...me included. However after most changes people can see the benefits. after the usual 2-3 year moan and groan time, people start appreciating the bigger deer, both antler and body weight. That being said, a longer doe season or try the 3 point rule in specific areas to test it. enforcement could be stepped up to insure a true test. phasing it in geographically would be way to do it. my opinion for what it is worth.

Like i said there are already a number of wma's that have 3 point rules. Why change what works on the properties that are the way they are.

I don't see how it would work out, as there is so much lawlessness on the private lands. They were so against a deer harvest report. 3 point would be only enforceable on public land, and there is so many more broken rules that happen on private land. There are a few WMA's with it, leave it at that. Try imposing the deer reporting before you take that step. How do they even know enough about the deer to decide on 3 point.
