cameras and corn over existing trails or feeding areas will tell you where to hunt. It's had some nice bucks killed in it before also. I'd check into the cleatcuts especially if they are newer, freshly cut because deer absolutely love those. BTW the standing water is starting to infiltrate and the deer will probably be headed back into the hardwoods more often soon to feed. You might consider hunting the edges of the water as most of my deer have been opting to wade in the water and eat acorns so I moved my stand to take advantage of it.
