Well I was back to the same WMA I was at 2 weeks ago with the Muzzleloader and I had a buck give the slip . This weekend was gun season and it wasn't his lucky day . I was texting to a friend John (Flydown) from FS Forum and he was asking if anything was moving down here . I said not a damn thing yet . He told to have faith . 20 minutes later I look to my left and I see antlers moving through some high myrtles . Game on , but the problem was I could barely make him out in all the thick stuff he was in . He disappeared for a few minutes and I couldn't believe he was gonna give me the slip again . I blew the grunt call twice and he came out at 60 yards and it was all over for him . I did get the shot on the Shotkam this time . Once I finish editing the video I'll post it . 8 Pt , 115 lbs . Never did see the bigbrow tine buck so I guess he will be bigger next season . 
Nice going ray! I went out this morning and only saw turkeys and some hogs. Way too far with the bow.
