WOW!
my boss has a bruiser hangin on his office wall from wisconsin. i think it has 19 points, 10 point main frame. its friggin huge. the farmer who owned the land he was hunting had never seen the buck before it was taken. they said that while it was hanging in the barn people from neighboring counties were driving up to see it. it weighed right at 300 lbs. its a pretty old deer.
i just talked to my co-worker, he is up in northwest indiana. his FIL took a 140 class buck this afternoon that weighed 275 lbs. big 8 point. He said he saw it 3 sittings in a row and never had a shot and then it wandered too close to his father in law and he shot it at 52 yards, perfect heart shot. he doesn't have a camera phone so i have not seen pics yet, he called me this evening while i was in class. they are hunting a farm that is owned by a family friend. not sure what city, i do know its near the illinois border.
Talk about some mass. That thing is really heavy. I'd shoot that in a second if I had the chance.
