Has anyone hunted with a whitetail outfitter? I was considering hunting next year with an outfitter in GA or AL. One that I like so far is Master Rack Lodge in S. AL. They seem to have a nice facility while you hunt, almost like a vacation while you hunt. Their site is masterracklodge.com. Let me know what you think of this place or others. I'll be calling several before booking obviously. I'd just like to get away, relax and have some fun.

it is in a good area. about 1 hour from my lease. accomodations look nice.
looked at their website. not a bad looking outfit. in a nice area. have been over that way. kinda pricey, but they have some nice looking deer.
That's what I was thinking. I've found several places in AL, GA and SC that look pretty good. They were all around that price. Better than longer travel and double the price like TX, OH, MI, etc. I know the deer are bigger in those places but I'm not necessarily going "trophy only". Just some good fun...away from the office and bringing home some good meat to bbq. Some place under a 10 hour drive is ideal.

i understand. that drive is probably about 7 hours from tampa. my lease in Cuthbert is about 6 hours. if you zoom out the map on the website it shows Cuthbert. not very far at all from that ranch.
