WOW!!!!!!!!!! is all I can say after spending 4 days on the Extreme Whitetails ranch in Cross Plains, Texas which is about 80 miles west of Dallas . WOW!!! Where do I begin? We are greeted at the entrance to the ranch with a herd of Blackbuck laying out in the brush and 2 monster 190 class Whitetails bedded up. Driving into the ranch we instantly saw animals and thought, what will we see in 3 days of hunting? Too bad we were only hog hunting with some folks from Iowa as the first morning I had shots at a huge Oryx, Chocolate Fallow and finally about a dozen hogs. I decided to lay down a nice wooley spotted sow and then the fun began. All in all 16 hogs met thier demise in 3 days of day and night hunting, easily I could have shot 50 hogs. Soon as I get all settled in from the trip I will post up some pics and if anyone is looking for an affordable Texas hunt the Boones have the place in Texas for exotics and hogs are always included. Goodness gracious, I could have shot Fallow, rams, Axis, Oryx, Elk, Whitetail, Blackbucks as well as Red Stag.

The ranch house is phenominal with king size and queen size beds, big screen tv, huge living room and guides who go out of thier way to ensure you have a grand time. We shot hogs off stands, ground blinds and legally from ranch roads all day and night time. Daytime we were entertained when at the ranch house with 160-200"+ whitetails walking around and a large food plot viewed from the back window with plenty of Blackbuck and Whitetail action.

Simply an amazing time and I am booking mid Febuary for a few days to hunt exotics, they have a section that is 500 dollars for a 2 day archery hunt where you can take Fallow, Blackbuck, Axis, Rams, Red Stag, 2 meat hogs or a chance at an elk, you just do not know what will show up. I hog hunted there and could have taken Axis, Fallow or a ram but instead shot a hog with great regret we only booked hog hunting. If anyone is interested in a quality hunt and a great time, please call me! Would love to go back with a group as the ranch is set up for bow and gun hunters.

Pics to come as soon as I get settled in.
