now you've got me confused, a shotgun is allowed in both areas. smoothbore or rifled barrels are ok also. slugs or buckshot are legal in both areas. not sure what you meant by RIFLE SHOT, if you meant rifled slugs fired from a shotgun, yes legal in both areas, if you meant a centerfire rifle round, like ( 30-30, 308, 30-06 ) then only at chazzahowitzka. I live about 10 mi from rt 19 and countyline rd ( hernando/pasco border ) there is a gun shop called the sportsmans attic on the east side of 19 app 3 mi north of spring hill dr, they have a pretty good selection, but check out the for sales on this forum and the newspapers also.

I know the store, will stop by there and check them out. Being new and not knowing what to look for, thought/think it best to stay away from sales on boards not knowing what might be good or bad...I am off of the Veterans and 52.

that is the one, was trying to remember what marlin that was.
I shot next to a guy at the range about a month ago who had a new rem mdl 7 in 358rem mag. 20"bbl, short light handy and pushes a 200- 250 gr bullet 2400-2600 fps. probably a little heavy on the recoil but should stop anything on this continent to 200 yds easy. should make one hell of a hog gun or elk, if going back home. just not too easy to find ammo on most shelfs
