I fished Sunday before the storm hit. I paddled all the way from Gandy to 4th st. I fished the deep cuts, shallows, oysters, mangroves, grass, you name it.
I fished live shrimp, free lined, under a float. Threw jigs, DOA shrimp, gulps, plugs...
Managed one slime ball..
There were 2 other yakkers and two waders working the same area. Noone caught a fish. Not even a short trout
bummer. i went out yesterday onto lake tarpon for bass but had no luck. this cold weather has the fish just as frustrated as it has the floridians. the weathers awesome this week tho. hopefully it stays warm for a while now. once the bait starts running fishings gunna be on fire
I fished Tarpon a few weeks ago and got skunked too. It was really cold when i was out there
