if you had to pick a treestand for public land which one would you pick climber, hang on, or ladder?

Take it in and out with you
Ladder stands are an invite for lazy hunters to hunt your spot
You scout, find a good spot, put up a ladder stand, then some Elmer Fudd comes along, sees it and hunts out of it. Otherwise they would just keep on going
I had 4 ladder stands up a few years ago. Someone hunted out of all of them, and tried to steal 2 of them.
Now I just tote my climber in and out every time. Plus if you need to change your setup it is just a matter of climbing a different tree

Ground blinds are my choice!

Climbers on public for me. Summit Vipers. Light weight, comfortable, quiet and safe.
