South is best. You get morning and afternoon sun. Just look how your feeder sits when its hoisted up. It should sit pretty much the same all the time. Or you can tie a thin piece of cord to the feeder, and use it as a guy wire to tie it off to keep it from spinning. We used to do that when we used the Straight Shooter feeders, to aim them precisely down a pine row
Btw, like Ive told you before, these batteries last longer than you think. Granted one has a solar charger. But that big green barrel feeder in that hammock by my ground blind....that feeder has been hanging there since April last year, and will still throw corn 30'. Never touched the battery.
Out of curiosity I will pull that battery out and check it when I go back up in 2 weeks. Since I am going to turkey hunt in there I need to go ahead and empty it
yea ill point it south.. I really want to use a tripod but im gonna kick myself in the ass if a bear trashes it. thanks for the info allen!
Hey Crock, a couple of my buddies use them and never seem to buy batts, they said it was the best decision they had made for their game cams...just an FYI for U
The one by me barely has any feeders. In ga
Ive found its easier(and cheaper) just to order stuff online, instead of chasing it down. Especially with gas at $3.09/gallon
