Snake boots or no snake boots

Hey y'all. Thanks for e honest Input. After much consideration I decided to purchase a pair of snake gaiters from basspro. I'm going to wear my hiking boots since I've had them for 10 years and they are still very comfortable. I plan on purchasing waterproof socks for hiking and bringing dry socks to change into.
