There is a ton of apps out there now. I have about 10 of them on my droid. The absolute best one is called GPS/Compass.
It gives you a live screen of google maps. You can toggle thru either satellite or road maps, and it traces a line everywhere you go. I have been using it scouting my new lease. Pretty cool being able to see the tree lines while driving around
It is a battery eater, though
I never really look at getting apps but the one you just mentioned would be great for the line to see my tracks like I have on my garmin. I'd rather just carry the phone instead of both. I'll be looking at getting the one you mentioned also. Thanks.
